# Install CustoMeow on Shopify

# I. **Install CustoMeow**
1. **Log in to Shopify Admin Panel**
* Visit the [Shopify official website](https://www.shopify.com/) and log in using your account.

2. **Access the Shopify App Store**
* In the Shopify Admin, click **“Apps”** in the left-hand menu, then click **“Shop for apps”**.

3. Search and Select CustoMeow App
* In the search bar, type **“CustoMeow”** to locate the app.
* Alternatively, you can click [here](https://apps.shopify.com/customeow-product-personalizer) to access the installation page directly.

4. **Install the App**
* Click the **“Install”** button on the app page.
* You will be prompted to authorize the app to access your store information. Click **“Install app”** to complete the installation.

# II. Store Connection

Choose your integration method: **Add block to theme** or **Assign button element**. If the connection fails, please contact the **development team support**.

### Add block to theme

1. **Choose the integration method: Add block to theme**

 You only need to add the **CustoMeow Buttons Block** in your theme settings, and your customization features will be activated.

2. **Follow the steps to add the block in your theme editor**

* **2.1** Switch your theme page to the **Product Detail Page**.

* **2.2** Select a product as the default page for modification.

* **2.3** Add the CustoMeow block button **above the original Buy button**.*(😎 Yes, you guessed it—we’re replacing the Buy button.)*

* **2.4** Select **Apps** and find the **CustoMeow Button**.

* **2.5** You will see the CustoMeow button appear in the right-hand preview panel.

* **2.6** Hide the original **Buy Button block** and save the changes.

* **2.7** Return to the installation page and click **Next**.

3. **Once the block configuration is complete, add a demo product to your store.**

4. ** Setup completed.**

### Assign button element

1. **Choose the integration method: Assign button element**

2. **Follow the steps in your theme editor**

3. Enable the app-embed button in your theme template and save changes.

4.  Return to the setup page and refresh to sync the button. Once completed, click **Next**.

5. **Add a demo product to your store and proceed.**

6. **Install the “CustoMeow” browser extension (Google Chrome only)**

* **6.1** Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

* **6.2** Click the CustoMeow extension and enable it.

* **6.3** Select the **Cart button** as the customization trigger button, then click **Next**.

* **6.4** Select the **Quick Checkout button** as the customization quick-checkout trigger, and generate a verification code.

* **6.5** Copy the verification code and return to the CustoMeow installation page.

7. **Paste the code and click Next.**

8. **Update your theme style (e.g., button text, color of “Add to Cart” after customization, etc.), then click Next.**

9. **Setup completed.**
